National Cadets Corps (NCC) is the youth organization of the country. It is a tri- services organization, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Force, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into discipline and patriotic citizens. The cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades.
Aims of NCC
To develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and the ideas of selfless service amongst the youth of the country.
To create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life and be always available for the service of the nation.
To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the armed forces.
The motto of NCC is “UNITY and DISCIPLINE” . Unity implies our basic oneness, the brotherhood of all the Indian people regardless of their cast, color or creed. Likewise Discipline is the very bedrock on which any nation is founded. It is for these reasons that “Unity and Discipline” has been adopted as motto of the NCC.
Motivate them to join armed forces and serve the nation. We provide equal opportunity to boys and girls to join NCC, take part in all its activities. Regular activities like Drill, Map Regarding, Field Craft and Battle Craft etc. are being imparted to the cadets as per the syllabus framed by NCC Directorate, West Bengal . Anti Drug rally, Swachcha Bharat Abhiyan, Yoga, Independence Day, Republic Day, Kargil Vijaya Diwas, Save Drive Save Life Rally, Blood Donation Camp and NCC Day Celebration are the other programs conducted by 15 BN NCC, Suri, in which our cadets will take an activities. HIRALAL BHAKAT COLLEGE NCC unit is running successfully ncc activities and programmers. Our cadets participated various camps like Special National Integration camp and National Integration camp, Inter group camp, Pre RDC camp etc.
